What is a Meal Plan?

A Meal Plan unlocks delicious meals, coffee, snacks, and more at 27 dining locations across campus. Your Meal Plan includes Meal Swipes, Paw Points and Meal Exchange, conveniently loaded onto your TigerOne ID Card. No need to carry additional cards or cash!

Swipes

Meal Swipes

Meal Swipes give you access to any of our all-you-care-to-eat dining halls, including The Dish at McAlister, Schilletter Dining Hall, and Douthit Hills Community Hub. Unlimited meal plans require a 30-minute wait time between swipes.

Paw Points

Paw Points may be used at any on-campus Clemson Home Dining location and at Tri-County Technical College in the Campus Café (Beginning 8/13/24). Visit our locations page for location information, including dining hall menus and hours of operation.

  • Paw Points can be used for meals, snacks, beverages, etc. at any on-campus dining location.
  • Paw Points are included with each student meal plan. Funds can be reloaded throughout the year through the Clemson Home Portal.

  • Paw Points roll over each semester. The funds are no longer available for use after a student or faculty/staff member has either graduated or is no longer an active student or staff member at Clemson University.

*Effective August 13, 2024: Paw Points can be used at Tri-County Technical College in the Campus Café.

 

Grubhub

Paw Points can be used to order on-campus pick-up through the Grubhub App! 

  • Participating On-Campus Locations (Pick-up only): Chick-Fil-A, Starbucks, Freshens, Which Wich, Panda Express, La Madeleine, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Stripes Grill, Blenz, and Raising Cane's
  • Paw Points cannot be used for off-campus Grubhub purchases through Grubhub+.

To access the Clemson University dining locations through the Grubhub App:

  • Download the Grubhub App through the App Store or Google Play store.
  • Select Campus Dining - Clemson University
  • Add Campus Card

Exchange

Meal Exchange

Meal Swipes can be used for Meal Exchange to get a full meal solution at select retail location on campus during specific time frames.

Current Meal Exchange locations and access times includes:

 

  • Freshens Fresh Food Studio: 7:00am - 11:00am
  • Village Market: 7:00am - 11:00am


Unlimited meal plan holders may use one Meal Swipe during the Meal Exchange period. Block meal plan holders may use multiple Meal Swipes during the Meal Exchange period.

Guest Meals

Guest Meals come with our unlimited meal plans, allowing guests of meal plan holders entrance to the dining hall. Guest meals can be used at Schilletter, The Dish at McAlister, or Douthit Hills Community Hub.

With your meal plan, you receive many benefits and perks, including:

  • Quality food made fresh by our culinary team, with a variety of menu options personalized the way you like
  • Healthy choices available all across campus
  • Special events with themed meals and exclusive offers for meal plan members
  • Casual atmosphere with wifi, TVs, music and lounge-style seating—perfect for studying or hanging out with friends
  • Dedicated Allergen Solutions stations, located at True Balance at Schilletter Dining Hall and Naked Foods at The Dish at McAlister, feature menus made without the Top 9 Allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, wheat and gluten, dairy, soy, eggs, shellfish, fin fish, and sesame).
  • To-go meals: To take your meals to go from The Dish at McAlister, Schilletter Dining Hall or Douthit Hills Community Hub, you must sign up for our to-go program, ReusePass. Sign up using your Clemson.edu email at reusepass.com/Clemson. To check out a box, let the cashier know then scan your unique QR code. For more information, check out our ReusePass FAQs.
